Another top event at Monaco's premier resident club
Club des Résidents Etrangers de Monaco held an educational event about global finance for a sell-out audience on 20 November. CREM members enjoyed guest speaker Zsolt Lavotha, President of the Executive Board of MVCA (Monaco Private Equity and Venture Capital Association), supported by Nathalie Tanzi, MVCA Board member and specialist in Monaco regulatory aspects of the financial markets. Zsolt Lavotha (left) with Ambassador Henri Fissore Image: CLdL Lavotha gave an overview of what venture capital and private equity is; what its role in the Business and Financial Investment sector is; how individuals should view it from their personal perspective; and how private equity is operational today. The MVCA president provided some compelling personal arguments to invest in Private Equity companies, particularly those focusing on investments in non-public companies with market capitalisation between 100 million euros to 500 million euros. Lavotha believes this sector could benefit significantly from Private Equity investments and provide good returns for its investors in current market conditions. The audience at CREM for the Private Equity event.
